Greats of ’88: Karen Percy

The story

Greats of ’88 was a CBC Olympics series, sponsored by Ancestry.com, looking back at the 1988 Winter Games in Calgary. Karen Percy was a Canadian alpine skier racing at a home Olympics with the whole country watching.

I built the story around what it felt like to compete at home, with that much pressure and that much support. As Lead Producer, I wrote and produced it.

It brought a 30 year old Olympic memory back for a new generation of Canadian sports fans.
